Please join us on June 19th at the Barbican Library for the launch of Brittle Star Issue 44.
Readers include:
Stuart Charlesworth, Josh Ekroy, Sophie Hopesmith,
Zoe Mitchell, Serge ♆ Neptune, Ben Verinder,
Josephine von Zitzewitz
Our new issue is full of wonderful poetry and stories – lots of watery situations, urban scenes and fantastical, surreal moments.
Have you ever wondered how hard story titles work for your attention and imagination? Sarah Passingham’s article shows us that titles do more than we might think they do.
Our own editor, Jacqueline Gabbitas, writes about her Arts Council funded Developing Your Creative Practice project, woodworking, poetry-writing and the dovetail sonnet variation.
Entry to the launch is free but you will need to book directly through the Barbican Library on 020 7638 0569.
Wednesday, 19 June at Barbican Library, Barbican Centre, Silk St, London.
Doors open at 6.30. (Reading starts at 7pm and the Library closes at 9pm). Refreshments available
We hope to see you there!
Martin and Jacqueline,
Editors
